New learning zone at Safety Centre
Safety Centre, Hazard Alley are very excited to announce that we will be introducing a brand new learning zone into our wonderful interactive village!
The new scenario has been partially funded by MK Council and the Safer MK partnership, and will resemble a community shopping court. It will focus on educating children about the risks and consequences related to knife crime, which has become an increasing concern in many areas in and around Milton Keynes.
We are very proud to be at the forefront of implementing a new learning resource that will benefit children for years to come.
In order to make space for the new scenario, we did need to make some changes in the village. Therefore, after many years of educating thousands of children about the dangers of petrol and car air pumps, the Hazard Alley BP station has taken its final bow as the 7th scenario in our amazing tour.
We would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone who was involved in the removal, as it was not an easy task. However, it was wonderful to discover that behind the main scenario were some of the garage’s previous designs. It provided us with a much needed trip down memory lane.
While we are sad to see it go, we are very excited for the upcoming launch of what will take its place. It certainly has big shoes to fill!
