Safety Centre Meets HM King Charles III
The Safety Centre team was honoured to welcome HM King Charles to Milton Keynes this week when he joined local organisations at Christ The Cornerstone. HM King Charles spoke with our Chief Executive Maya Joseph-Hussain, our Chair of Trustees Catriona Morris and our volunteers Angie and Nick. They talked with the King about our work at the Safety Centre as the region’s leading and the world’s first safety education charity.
Maya Joseph-Hussain, Chief Executive of the Safety Centre said:
It was an honour to meet HM King Charles and welcome him to our hometown the city of Milton Keynes, alongside the amazing community organisations that make our city an exciting place to live, work and play. Thank you to Milton Keynes City Council for inviting us to join the community welcoming The King to MK. We are proud to share our city’s pioneering spirit, as the world’s first safety education charity and were thrilled to share our work helping to build safe, flourishing communities across our region with the King.
